Every Student Deserves to Be Seen, Understood, and Supported
We collaborate virtually with school districts, using a secured platform, to provide tailored, comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations that give educators, parents, and students clear insight into each learner’s strengths and areas for growth—so they can optimize instruction and support student success.
How We Support School Districts
-
Comprehensive evaluations to support accurate and meaningful decision-making.
We conduct cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments to help determine eligibility for special education services. Each evaluation is thorough, individualized, and designed to provide clear, actionable insights that address educational deficits and support student success.
-
Partnering with schools to better understand and support student needs.
We collaborate closely with teachers, staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to gather insights, interpret findings, and develop effective strategies. Services include consultations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and ongoing support for student-centered planning.
-
Supporting students directly while strengthening school-wide capacity.
We provide school-based counseling tailored to students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs, while also contributing to the development of strengths-based IEPs. In addition, we offer workshops and presentations for educators and organizations to build knowledge, improve practices, and better support diverse learners. We also offer practicum and internship supervision hours.
“You handle so many evaluations and pivot from one meeting to the next with such professionalism while keeping it personal for each student - it’s truly so impressive!”
Taylor, Colorado School District“Throughout her time at the university, Latisha presented in a friendly, upbeat manner, and it was a pleasure to have her in class.
Though it was some time ago that she attended the university, she is easy to remember because she made such a positive impression on me and the rest of the NJCU school psychology faculty.”
